  • Katerina Pshenitsyna
    Business Development Director, SMF animation
    Katerina Pshenitsyna is a senior executive with 10 years of experience in the international distribution of content and co-productions in media. During this period, she oversaw international distribution at Central Partnership, the industry leader in distribution in Russia, focusing on theatrical live-action, as well as at Wizart Animation, a leading production and sales outlet for high-quality animation. She is currently overseeing international business development and co-productions at SMF Animation, one of the largest Russian animation studios. She is also developing several projects in the MENA region and writing a thematic blog about it.

    He has collaborated with top industry names like Nickelodeon, Discovery, Marvel, and BBC, building strong professional relationships across the sector. Rathan’s expertise in negotiating and managing high-stakes projects has made him a significant player in the global animation and media landscape, driving Toonz Media Group's international success.
  • Hasnaa Khattab
    International, Kids and Anime Content Lead, MBC Group, MBC (KSA/UAE)
    A VOD content professional who started from deal making through content sourcing to currently managing the International, Kids and Anime offering on Shahid, The leading VOD platform in the Middle East and North Africa.
    A firm believer that content is not just entertainment, but also a very creative communication tool, it has the power to inspire, empower and influence audience especially the young minds of our future generation shaping who they grow up to be,
    But content is not only about the messaging, it’s also about the business, that’s why the creative process has to be coupled with smart business plans and models so it becomes more appealing to content creators and providers, streamers and industry players.
    I had the privilege working with Shahid and MBC to connect and collaborate with many passionate professionals in MENA and Internationally and also to work on many local kids Originals till date between live action and animation catering to different age groups.
    Shahid’s mission and mine equally is always to expand our offering of local meaningful, safe, appealing content that reflects our culture and values and to work toward successful models and collaborations to make that happen in a sustainable manner.
  • Steve Cho
    SVP Strategic Affairs, Sunwoo (South Korea)
    With nearly 20 years in the animation business, Steve Cho is well known as the producer of the International Emmy Awards-nominated show "Cloud Bread," a hit series from Korea. His passion for and admiration of animation also led him to serve as Director of the Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival. He is currently the SVP of Strategic Affairs at Sunwoo & Company.
  • Julia Nikolaeva
    General Producer, Riki Group
    From 2016 to 2019, Julia Nikolaeva served as Executive Director of 4 Screens Studio (part of the Riki Group). In 2019, she became the producer of the "Smeshariki" project, releasing a new season of the series in 2D format in partnership with KinoPoisk HD (Yandex). From 2020 to 2024, she was the Chief Producer of the Riki Group, managing the production team, developing new and existing content projects, and strengthening strategic partnerships. Since early 2024, she has been leading the international development of the Riki Group.
    In July 2022, she was ranked among the Top 10 best women producers in Russia according to the independent rating published by the analytical publication "Bulletin of Film Distribution," becoming the only representative of the animation industry on the list.
  • Vladimir Nikolaev
    General Producer, Studio Voronezh
    Vladimir Nikolaev has been working at the Voronezh animation studio (formerly Wizart Animation) since its founding in 2007 and is a general producer of the studio. During his tenure, he has released five parts of the "Snow Queen" franchise, the feature film "Sheep and Wolves: Pig Deal," and the sequel "The Kitten from Lizyukov Street 2." In 2019, his first directorial work, the film "Sheep and Wolves: Pig Deal," was released.
    As the studio's executive producer, Vladimir Nikolaev continued work on the series "Guardians of Wonders" and the film "Hansel, Gretel, and the Agency of Magic," which was released on Netflix. In November 2023, the studio released the animated series “Superheroes.RU”. At the moment, the studio is working on the projects “Heroes of the Arctic” and the second season of the series “Superheroes.ru”.
  • Hossein Panahi Dorcheh
    CEO & Producer, HPD Media (Turkey)
    Hossein began his career in the motion picture industry as an animation artist in 2011. He then expanded into international markets, not only as an artist but also as a media professional specializing in acquiring and distributing documentaries, live-action feature films, and animation projects. In 2020, Hossein established HPD Media, his own international production and distribution company.
    In addition to developing original IPs at his studio, such as the animated movie “AVA and the Lost Season,” Hossein has provided production services for projects like One Day (a feature-length animation for China) and Let’s Play with Monica and Friends (a TV series for Brazil), among others.
