Video viewing technology is rapidly improving: smartphones, computers and TVs produce better and better quality images and sound, and viewers react negatively if films and TV series look bad on their screens. This means that the life of content created according to the technical standards of the previous generation is sharply reduced. To solve this problem, Kinopoisk has developed special technical standards for its partners in video and sound, and since this year has been discussing the need for their widespread implementation with key players in the Russian film industry.

A memorandum of cooperation between Yandex and the Moscow Government in the development, implementation and promotion of industrial standards and technological solutions for film and TV series producers will be signed at the end of the public talk.
